Rigsbys in Doncaster had a cozy vibe, and the bed was as comfy as your mate's couch! Tracy and Woof were warm hosts, and I loved the close distance to town, where I tucked into some smashing Italian bites at The Gourmet Kitchen!
The hand wash was just water at first, and the kettle was a bit grimy—dirty scales and all, yikes! Plus, the shared toilet situation wasn’t ideal, and it was a hike up two flights with my bags. Not how I wanted to start my evening.

Comfortable stay with a warm host
I stayed for one night in the Deluxe Double Room and found it to be beautifully decorated and extremely cozy. Tracy was such a friendly host, making the effort to greet us when we arrived and ensuring we had everything we needed. The bed was really comfortable, perfect for a good night's sleep, and the tea and coffee facilities were a nice touch. One thing to note is that the shared bathroom situation might not be ideal for everyone.

The bed was super comfy, and I loved the homemade breakfast that was cooked fresh just for me. I enjoyed the peaceful garden where I relaxed with a book and the cozy lounge for evening chats. Just a heads up, the shared toilet situation was a little awkward, but it didn't spoil my overall good vibes. 😊

Had an awesome stay with friends! We visited the local races and explored the town. The rooms were spotlessly clean and super comfy, and breakfast was amazing with proper sausages. The owner was so helpful despite restrictions. Definitely recommend it for a group getaway!

What a lovely stay! The room was super cute and spacious. Tracy is such a gem, really made us feel at home. We had the best cooked breakfast ever! Only thing is, sharing a bathroom wasn't ideal for us, but it was fine. we really enjoyed our time here!

Tracy was a warm and welcoming host, making the experience enjoyable. The room was comfortable and tidy, although the separate toilet was a minor inconvenience. Some noise from the main road was noticeable at night, but overall, it provided a pleasant retreat.

Decor really nails that cozy, homely vibe with charming touches everywhere. Comfy beds and a bright room create a nice atmosphere for unwinding after a long day.
Shared bathroom may not suit everyone’s taste, especially when the cleanliness feels like it's hanging on by a thread. The shower’s lack of pressure could put a damper on your morning routine. The thin walls let in noise from the busy road outside. More hooks for bags or clothing in the room wouldn't hurt, as would a clean kettle—hard to brew a good cup when the appliance’s rusty. The host's strict check-in timings can leave you hanging if there's a delay.
